Will my health insurance cover therapy?
It’s a good idea to check with your insurance company for the most up-to-date details on your coverage, including copays and deductibles.
Alternatively, you can share your insurance information along with your full name and date of birth, and we can look up your status. Keep in mind, we’re not the final authority, so even if we provide information, it’s still best to confirm everything with a representative for the latest details.
How long will the process take?
Counseling doesn’t follow a set timeline; it starts with gathering history and moves toward creating treatment goals. Along the way, the healing process brings discoveries to work through and overcome. As certain traumas or inner conflicts are resolved, new ones may surface. The key is to be patient with yourself and remember that healing is a journey that can’t be rushed.
What are your areas of expertise?
We are Licensed Professional Counselors with extensive training in areas like Self Psychology, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and, if requested, Faith-Based Counseling from a Christian perspective. We provide care at the highest level, using only evidence-based techniques.
Our wellness-focused approach means we work with each person’s unique strengths and qualities, addressing the mind, body, and spirit for truly holistic care. As trauma-informed counselors, we draw from a variety of interventions and tailor our methods to each client’s personal goals for counseling.
What is your approach to therapy?
As eclectic counselors who use strengths-based and resiliency-focused approaches, we believe in guiding clients through hardships, grief, and emotional wounds in a holistic way. Our method, known as “The Wellness Model,” looks at client history, trauma, sleep habits, lifestyle, spirituality, and more to create a personalized treatment plan aimed at client-driven goals. We address thoughts, emotions, injuries, and fears to uncover and resolve the root of distress, whether it stems from hidden motives, challenging life circumstances, or limiting obstacles. Using tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Narrative and Arts Therapy, Play Therapy, Faith-Based Counseling, and more, we tailor each treatment to your unique qualities and strengths.
